Upper Primary Kids to Get Animation Lessons | Noida News – Times of India

Noida: The state government is planning to restructure the syllabi of upper primary class from the next academic session to include photoshop, animation, and other computer-oriented topics, DIET officials said. The changes are as per the guidelines of NEP, 2020. Classes will be conducted using smart boards and tablets. However, government school teachers in the district claimed the implementation was only possible with adequate infrastructure, which many schools still lack.
“Computer skill oriented subjects need practical illustrations.Students will not understand anything without workstations. Smart Boards, installed here two years back through CSR, are now dysfunctional. No one has responded to our request for maintenance,” said a government school teacher in Dadri.
Officials maintained that the majority of schools in GB Nagar have received smart classrooms. “By next year, all the primary and upper primary schools in the district will achieve smart classroom status. The upgrade is done through CSR funds mostly, but in schools where CSR doesn’t help, the government will provide the infrastructure,” said Rahul Pawar, the basic education officer of GB Nagar.
