Prayagraj: Authorities of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) released the interview schedule on Saturday within 24 hours of declaring the result of the main examination of Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (PCS) 2023.
The interview of 451 candidates selected in the main examination will be held from January 8 to 12. According to the Secretary, UPPSC, Omkar Nath Singh, the selected candidates have to report for the interview in the first and second session at 9 am and 1 pm respectively with the necessary documents.Out of total 254 vacancies available for 20 types of posts in PCS 2023, selection is to be done on the basis of written examination and interview on 150 vacancies. According to Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar, 451 candidates have been declared successful for the interview against these 150 posts. The final result of PCS 2023 is expected to be declared in a eight months. The preliminary examination was held on May 14 in which out of 5,65,459 candidates who applied, 3,45,022 appeared. The Commission had released result of prelims within one and a half months. After that, 3,658 candidates appeared in main examination held in Prayagraj and Lucknow from September 26 to 29.
