Mumbai: Actor Kamaal R Khan was detained at Mumbai international airport based on a lookout circular (LOC) issued by Versova police in a 2016 case for his alleged vulgar post on X against actors and models.
On Monday, Khan posted: “I am in Mumbai for last one year. And I am attending my all court dates regularly. Today I was going to Dubai for new year. But Mumbai police arrested me at the airport.According to police, I am wanted in a 2016 case.”

KRK also referenced Salman Khan’s allegations that his film #Tiger3 is a flop because of him, warning that any harm to him would be considered murder. He tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Previously, KRK apologized to Salman Khan on Twitter and decided not to review his films. He was previously arrested for derogatory remarks against Akshay Kumar and Ram Gopal Varma, which were deemed communal and led to charges under Sections 153 and 500 of IPC.
Over 8000 vehicles inspected by Mumbai Police in Christmas bandobast
Mumbai Police conducted nakabandis at 108 locations during their Christmas bandobast, inspecting 8122 two and four wheelers. They also carried out preventive checks at 548 vital installations and sensitive locations. Top police officers, including Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, Special Commissioner Deven Bharti, and Joint Commissioner Satyanarayan, personally visited various locations and guided junior officers. Police took action against 2618 motorcyclists for riding without helmets and 65 motorists for rash driving. Policemen from all police stations were deployed across the city during the day and night.
