MMRCL gets 38,000 square feet Mahim plot on lease for commercial use
The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) has been allotted a 38,650 square feet plot at Naya Nagar, Mahim, for commercial exploitation on a 30-year lease. The plot is being leased at a nominal rate and can neither be transferred nor sold. MMRCL is executing the Metro Line 3 underground project and has completed the tunneling work at the plot. Additionally, MMRCL has not disclosed any concrete plans for restoring the tree cover at each of its 26 stations, but the Naya Nagar plot can be used for this purpose.
