TRE 2.0: Over 39k candidates declared successful in BPSC Teacher Recruitment Examination | Patna News – Times of India

PATNA: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Monday declared the results for 20 different subjects in the class 11-12 category for the second phase of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE). Altogether 22,131 candidates were declared successful in this round – 1,046 for Sanskrit, 32 for Bangla, six for Magahi, 15 for Bhojpuri, 16 for Prakrit, seven for Pali, 129 for Maithili, 1,465 for music, 777 for economics, 976 for zoology, 2,004 for sociology, 1,793 for psychology, 169 for philosophy, 1,238 for home science, 3,936 for history, 169 for entrepreneurship, 1,460 for botany, 2,267 for chemistry, 1,982 for mathematics and 2,644 for physics.
Results were also declared for the social science subject for classes 6-8 in which 8,196 candidates were declared successful. The BPSC also announced the district allocation list for the successful candidates. So far, 69,780 candidates have successfully cleared the examination.
In a bid to prevent any fraud during the counselling process, the education department on Monday issued a new set of orders to be followed by all district education officers across the state. As per the orders, teacher candidates who do not have an Aadhaar number or an Aadhaar number linked mobile, will not be allowed into the counselling process. Candidates will also receive an OTP on their Aadhaar-linked mobile number for verification.
In addition to this, the biometric thumb impression of the candidates will be matched with the one recorded in the examination hall during the exam.
Counselling for successful candidates will begin on Tuesday for all subjects in classes 6-8 category. This will be followed by candidates of classes 9-10 on December 27, classes 11-12 on December 28 and classes 1-5 on December 30.

The Jharkhand High Court has granted permission for candidates who have cleared the CTET and TET from neighbouring states to participate in the recruitment examination for 26,000 Assistant Teacher positions in Jharkhand. If appointed, these candidates must pass the JTET within three years. The court also mandated a three-month preparation time for the examination and directed the Jharkhand government to organize the JETT every year. The exam is scheduled for January 2024 as per the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. The announcement also detailed post allocations, salary ranges, and the highest rank positions across different districts.
