Cm To Review Magh Mela, Kumbh Preparations Today | Allahabad News – Times of India

Prayagraj: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will review 2024 Magh Mela and 2025 Kumbh Mela preparation during his one-day visit in city on Wednesday. CM is likely to reach Prayagraj at around 12:30 pm and will reach Sangam noze at around 1 pm to review preparations, sector lay-out of Magh Mela along with 2025 Maha Kumbh plan.
He will also review traffic management plan, works and projects of government departments regarding 2024 Magh Mela.
He is likely to inspect quila ghat, construction of Dashaswamedh ghat, Akshayavat, Patalpuri and Saraswati corridor. CM will also be holding a review meeting with officials at ICCC auditorium.
He will also inspect Subedarganj bridge and airport road before leaving for Lucknow.
A senior magh mela official told TOI, “All necessary preparations have been made on mela campus ahead of CM’s visit and officials are working from pillar to post to get all the projects completed. Adequate security arrangements have been made in and around mela campus for the CM visit”. CM is likely to inaugurate UP’s first floating restaurant. Before visiting Prayagraj to review 2024 Magh Mela and 2025 Kumbh preparations, CM will visit Mooratganj in Kaushambi to attend a function.

UPSRTC is preparing to operate 8,000 buses in Magh Mela 2024 to accommodate the huge expected turnout of devotees. To enhance its fleet, the corporation plans to call buses from across the state. Nine depots in Prayagraj zone will be given 300 additional buses. The additional buses will be pressed into service during the main bathing days. Homethon, a property expo organised by Naredco Nashik, took place at Dongre hostel grounds. Nashik’s divisional commissioner, Radhakrishna Game, announced infrastructural development for the upcoming Kumbh Mela. He also mentioned a proposal for upgrading sewage treatment plants and the need for e-registration facilities in the real estate sector. Game highlighted Nashik’s potential as a wellness hub, citing its natural beauty in Igatpuri and Trimbakeshwar.
CM reviews development projects, lays roadmap for Simhastha preparation
Chief minister Mohan Yadav directs officials to plan for maintenance of roads and traffic management for Simhastha in 2028. Devotees should not walk long distances to Mahakal temple. Reduce time for prayers like in Tirupati Balaji temple. Send team to understand devotee management in Balaji temple. Organize parikrama on full moon day like Panchkoshi yatra. Develop pilgrimage destination at Narayan Dham. Renovate archaeological buildings in Ujjain district. Inaugurate completed projects up to Rs 50 lakh.
