Covid Patient Dies As T Logs 8 More Cases | Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Telangana reported eight more cases, all in Hyderabad, on Tuesday. A patient, who died with comorbidities, was later found to be Covid-19 positive in Osmania General Hospital. Authorities said he was admitted with heart problems and suffered from other ailments.
According to the Covid-19 bulletin, four persosn recovered from Covid-19 and 59 people are in isolation.Results of 30 mores samples are awaited. tnn

A 64-year-old man with comorbidities died on December 15 due to severe Covid pneumonia, heart failure, and cardiogenic shock. The patient presented with breathlessness, cough, fatigue, and loss of appetite. On evaluation, a chest X-ray revealed severe lower respiratory tract infection. He tested positive for Covid 19 and was shifted to an isolation ward, where he received treatment including antibiotics, anti-virals, antihistamine, steroids, and UFH. Health experts advise patients with comorbidities to remain isolated as Covid-19 JN.1 variant sees spike
Dr. Sudhir Bhandari of Rajasthan University of Health Science reassured citizens about the JN.1 variant and highlighted the importance of the vaccination program. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya reviewed the preparedness for respiratory illnesses in light of the surge in COVID-19 cases. Jammu has set up a COVID ward in Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh Hospital. Delhi’s public health infrastructure is being reviewed by the government to enhance COVID preparedness. Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, and West Bengal reported COVID-related deaths.
