Kanpur Cricketers defeated Winners Club by 8 wickets in the second semifinal of the Dinesh Mishra Memorial cricket tournament. They will now face Rovers Club in the finals. Winners Club scored 135 runs, with Sumit Mishra contributing the highest 31 runs. In response, Kanpur Cricketers chased down the target of 136 runs in 15.5 overs, with Samanvay Dixit and Gopal Singh scoring 34 and 33 runs respectively.

Bomb found in train at Karachi’s Cantt railway station, defused
The Sindh Counter Terrorism Department foiled a terror attack at Karachi Cantt Station by discovering a time bomb in a bag on the Peshawar Express. The bag was found under a seat and contained a time bomb with a battery, wire, and switches. A vigilant security guard noticed the bag and immediately informed the CTD and Bomb Disposal Squad. The bomb, which contained at least two kilograms of explosive material, was diffused through controlled blasts.
