2 Injured in Bike-Truck Collision in Gurgaon | Gurgaon News – Times of India

Gurgaon: Two brothers who worked as delivery agents collided with a truck parked without any indicators by a road in Khatiwas village on the night of December 26. One of them, Vikas Kumar (23), suffered a fracture in the right leg, while his 21-year-old brother, Ravi Kumar, received bruises.
Vikas filed a police complaint on Friday as he was not in a condition to give a statement on the day of the accident, said cops.
“Ravi and I were driving towards our office in Uncha Majra on our bike. I was driving the bike. When I reached SIPL Textile company, suddenly I saw a truck parked in the middle of the road. Before I could get a better vision and act, I ended up crashing into the truck. The foggy condition and the truck without reflectors led to our accident. Then, I lost consciousness,” Vikas stated in his complaint filed at Pataudi police station.
The truck driver has been booked for rash driving and grievous hurt due to negligence. “Preliminary investigation revealed that the truck driver was under the influence of alcohol,” said a police officer.
