There has been massive buzz about the individual contracts of BLACKPINK members, after they did not renew the same with YG Entertainment. Jisoo was rumoured to join G-Dragon’s new agency, but seems like she has showed trust in her family.
An exclusive Korean news report suggests that Jisoo has joined her brother’s agency, Blissoo for all her solo activities.This agency is a subsidiary operating under Biomom, Inc, with Jisoo’s brother serving as the CEO. Further, adding to the speculations, Blissoo recently posted a hiring advertisement using Jisoo’s picture. According to allkpop, the company’s representative refused to confirm the contract and said, “It’s complicated to define the company’s relationship with Blissoo. I don’t know the CEO’s family relationship either.”
In 2016, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose debuted as BLACKPINK with YG Entertainment, and their contracts expired in August 2023. In December last year, the agency announced renewal of group contracts, “We are pleased to announce that our board of directors has successfully come to an agreement on the signing of exclusive group contracts for all four members of BLACKPINK, our talented artists.
