Fire At Restaurant, None Hurt | Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: A minor fire occurred at Girlfriend Mandi restaurant near Durgam Cheruvu metro station on Monday. The incident was caused by a short circuit, said officials from the fire department. No injuries have been reported in the fire.
With the timely reaction of the police and fire department, the situation was brought under control quickly without much damage.The incident follows several blazes in the recent past highlighting the need for better fire safety protocol and implementation of the same. tnn

Fire breaks out in shopping complex, no injuries
Fire broke out in an AC unit of an imitation jewellery store in Malad West. 11 persons, including four females, were safely rescued by fire brigade personnel. No injuries were reported. The fire gutted three shops on the first floor of the shopping centre, which lacked a firefighting system. The fire did not spread to the second and third floor.
Delhi Fire Services on its toes to respond to any incident during New Year celebrations
Delhi Fire Services personnel are prepared for New Year celebrations in Delhi. Fire engines will be stationed at 13 prominent spots, including Hauz Khas and Connaught Place. Delhi Police conducted vehicle checks in various parts of the city. The Special Commissioner of Police (CP) (Traffic), SS Yadav, issued a traffic advisory and ensured necessary arrangements and personnel deployment at crowded locations. The public is urged to avoid drunk driving and stricter actions will be taken.
