Kanpur: City Club outplayed women team Angel Women by 9 wickets in a low scoring tie of KDMA league played at Kanpur South ground on Friday.
Batting first, Angel Women collapsed on 38 runs in just 10overs.Only Babita Yadav could reach the double figure by scoring 14 runs. City Club in reply scored the required 39 runs for the loss of one wicket in 8.3 runs.Vishal Katiyar hit unbeaten 24 runs. Geetanjali Club and KGSC shared the points equally when their tie at Kanpur South A ground was stopped due to winter rains. Geetanjali Club, putting into bat, had scored 108 runs and KGSC was chasing the target.
