According to the police, the couple got married in 2014. The next year they were blessed with a daughter. Subsequently, the victim started to allegedly harass his wife demanding her to get additional dowry.
Later, he underwent a sex change and became transwoman and started wearing sarees. The victim allegedly went to the places where the wife worked and created nuisance by making certain gestures and misbehaving with her.
“The wife felt that it was due to the victim that she frequently lost her job. Besides, she also felt the after he underwent the sex change procedure, her and her daughter’s reputation took a beating,” a police official from Siddipet said.
After deciding to eliminate her husband, she got in touch with B Ramesh and agreed to pay 18 lakh if he kills the victim. She even paid an advance of 4.6 lakh. On December 11, the accused made the victim consume liquor and when he fell asleep, smothered him to death. Later, it was projected as a natural death.
On knowing about it, police registered a case. Postmortem examination revealed that it was a case of unnatural death. Based on forensic findings, cops probed the role of the deceased’s wife and concluded that it was a case of murder.

A marital discord between a couple in Ghaziabad ended tragically when a 42-year-old Delhi Police constable was allegedly murdered by his wife, daughter, and in-laws. The constable sustained at least 20 internal injuries, as revealed by the autopsy report. The incident occurred after an argument between the constable and his wife, leading to a physical assault by the woman and her family members. The father-in-law and brother-in-law were already present at the constable’s house. The police have registered an FIR against the wife, daughter, father-in-law, and brother-in-law for culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy.
