LUCKNOW: With less than a fortnight remaining until the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22, State Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh announced on Monday plans to initiate helicopter services as a large influx of visitors is expected for the ceremony.
Although the minister didn’t specify a particular date, he stated, “The services will commence before January 22.”
Speaking on Monday, the minister confirmed, “Helicopter services will be initiated for devotees visiting the city. We are also contemplating introducing water services. Airport services have already commenced.”
He emphasized, “We are committed to ensuring that all necessary facilities are provided to the devotees who will be arriving in large numbers to witness the inauguration.”
The minister highlighted plans to augment railway capacities considering the anticipated surge in the city’s visitor count.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla at the sanctum sanctorum of the upcoming Ram Temple in Ayodhya is scheduled for January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to officiate the ceremony.
