Agastya Nanda, despite being the grandson of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, reveals a special source of inspiration within his family. The actor shares that he has always looked up to his uncle, Abhishek Bachchan, as his hero.
As reported on IndianExpress.com, Agastya said that he doesn’t see Amitabh Bachchan as the superstar; no matter how many fans mob him, he genuinely sees him as his grandfather. His uncle, Abhishek Bachchan, has genuinely been his hero growing up. He said, “Our generation grew up watching ‘Dhoom‘, ‘Housefull‘, and ‘Guru‘.” He added that his uncle was his hero; when he saw ‘Dhoom’, he was like, ‘Oh my God, those bikes’. His grandfather was a generation ahead, so he didn’t grow up watching him. He grew up watching his uncle, so he was a bigger fan of his, and still he is.
Agastya further said that, luckily, his uncle loves giving knowledge; it is his favourite thing. He can impart knowledge about anything. He just has to sit and wait, and it will come. But it is helpful; he listens to it and takes what works for him.
Agastya Nanda recently made his acting debut with the film ‘The Archies’. It also starred Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, and the late Sridevi’s daughter, Khushi Kapoor. Agastya will be next seen in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Ikkis’, which will be based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal PVC.
