AYODHYA/LUCKNOW: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that the consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 will not only be an honour for the country’s faith and belief but would also mark restoration of its self-respect.
“When Lord Ram gets seated in his grand temple after 500 years, not only Ayodhya Dham but the entire country will also get the blessing of Ram Rajya which started in 2014 when the BJP came to power at the Centre under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi,” Yogi said while addressing a gathering after flagging off 50 electric buses and 25 electric autos in Ayodhya.
The state government has provisioned around 200 electric buses for Ayodhya in the first phase. This is proposed to be expanded to 500.
The Chief Minister also launched the official website of Ayodhya Police along with the digital tourist App.
Through the tourist app, one would be able to see and reach important places in Ayodhya easily.
Opportunity to serve God comes in thousands of years, says Yogi
The app will not only be available in English but also in all other languages included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution, including Hindi and Sanskrit. Similarly, the police website will help in locating the relevant police station and to get emergency services.
The e-buses and e-autos have been launched by Ayodhya municipal corporation. This came more than a fortnight after PM Modi dedicated a slew of developmental projects, including the airport, in Ayodhya on December 30, 2023. Yogi said that Ayodhya is getting equipped for the convenience of the devotees and tourists. “Would anyone have ever thought that Ayodhya would have such magnificent roads? Today, everyone is overwhelmed after seeing Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Dharma Path, Janmabhoomi Path in Ayodhya,” he said.
The CM also referred to the coming of a multi-level parking, construction of ghats from Guptar Ghat to Ram Ki Paidi and New Ghat, beautification of Surajkund, Bharatkund etc. At the same time, a series of buildings, including tourist accommodations, dharamshalas, hotels and tent cities are also be
