Balangir: A businessman was found dead in a mysterious condition near a railway track close to Khujenpali village, on the outskirts of Balangir, on Monday morning.
The deceased, Tripurari Panigrahi, 61, who was the president of Chamber of Commerce in Balangir, was a resident of Bhagwatinagar in Balangir municipal.
According to the GRP, Panigrahi’s body was discovered by the track inspection team.A police recovered the body.
“We found some injuries marks on his head and ears. His belongings like gold ornaments, spectacles, shoes, apparel and cellphones were found on his body. Preliminary investigations suggest that the individual died due to an apparent fall near the railway track,” said Prabin Kuanr, officer in-charge, GRP, Balangir.
