Woman held for killing hubby – Latest News | Patna News – Times of India

A 24-year-old married woman was arrested for killing her husband in connivance with her lover from Dallu Chak under the Mehendiganj police station area in Patna on Monday. The accused Neha Kumari with her boyfriend Rajan Kumar hired a shooter for Rs 1 lakh in December last year. On December 5, the deceased Pappu Kumar, a junior clerk, who was posted in the building construction department in Khagaul, was shot dead by an unidentified man. The deceased’s sister, Sangeeta Kumari, in her statement recorded by the police, had expressed suspicion on her sister-in-law Neha.
Kidnapped teen rescued in 12 hrs: Police on Monday rescued a 16-year-old boy who was kidnapped from his village Vishkurwa under Belchhi police station in Patna late Sunday night. The criminals had demanded Rs 4 lakh as ransom from his family over phone. Sonu Kumar was rescued from Chanda village of Athamalgola police station area within 12 hours. The criminals have also been identified.
₹30,000 stolen from shop: Grocery items and Rs 30,000 cash were stolen from a store in Nauhasa village under Phulwarisharif police station in Patna in the wee hours of Monday. Owner Tausif Raja registered a complaint in this regard. According to police, the thieves entered the shop through the ventilator shaft.
Firing by pramukh’s hubby: One Manoj Kumar, the husband of Dulhin Bazaar pramukh, along with his six associates, allegedly fired on Santosh Kumar and seven of his men at in Kotwali police station area of Patna late Sunday night. No one was injured in the firing. Krishna Murari, DSP (law and order), Kotwali, said in the preliminary investigation, it has come to light that the incident was outcome of political rivalry. “Recently, a no-confidence motion was brought against the sitting pramukh of Dulhin Bazaar.”
