PM Modi shares Ram Bhajan by Odia singer on social media – Times of India

BHUBANESWAR: Ahead of the consecration of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared an Odia bhajan (a devotional song) on lord Ram by singer Namita Agrawal on his social media account X.
Agrawal’s bhajan ‘Ayodhya Nagari Nache Ramanku Pai’ went viral in social media after the PM shared it. “There is devotion towards Prabhu Shri Ram in every part of India.In every language also you will find several Bhajans to him. Here is one such effort in Odia,” read the tweet of Modi.
Agrawal has also acted in the video. This soothing and soulful rendition of the singer has featured photos and videos of Ram Temple, Sarayu river and images of lord Ram. She has invoked lord Ram in the music video.
The song written by Arun Mantri and composed by Saroj Rath has garnered 3.5 lakh views in nine days. Agrawal expressed her happiness after finding PM Modi’s X handle sharing her Ram bhajan.
Singers from different parts of the country have made several songs on lord Ram ahead of the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Earlier, Modi had praised noted singer Hariharan’s Ram bhajan.
He has also praised Geeta Rabari, Gujarati folk singer, for her bhajan ‘Shree Ram Ghar Aaye’. Before this, he had shared similar Ram bhajans sung by singers like Jubin Nautiyal and Hansraj Raghuwanshi.
Some Odia budding singers have also posted Ram bhajans on their YouTube channels. It includes ‘Bol Jai Shri Ram’, ‘Tuma Name Sakal Dham’. These songs are also getting good views as the people are waiting anxiously for the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony.
