Hyderabad: Telangana Congress intellectual forum chairman A Shyam Mohan and spokesperson Bhavani Reddy on Friday strongly hit back at BRS working president KT Rama Rao for his comments that chief minister A Revanth Reddy was inviting Gautam Adani to invest in the state while AICC leader Rahul Gandhi has been criticising the tycoon all these years.
“CM Revanth Reddy went to Davos and entered into agreements with various companies, including those led by Adani, only to bring investments as well jobs for the youth of Telangana in the overall interests of the state and its people,” Shyam Mohan said.
He added: “Over Rs 40,000 crore investments are coming into Telangana which would create thousands of job opportunities.”

Adani Group commits Rs 12,400 crore to Telangana, covering green energy, defence, cement, and data centers. Investments include a 100MW data center powered by renewable energy, pump storage projects of 850MW and 500MW, counter drone and missile systems, and a 6 million tonnes per annum cement plant. These projects will create thousands of direct and indirect jobs.
