Repair Plea By Boarders Of Hindu Hostel | Kolkata News – Times of India

Kolkata: The boarders of Eden Hindu Hostel have written to West Bengal Heritage Commission (WBHC) chairman Alapan Bandyopadhyay, highlighting that despite being a heritage structure, three wards of the hostel (3, 4, and 5) have not been renovated for years.
In its reply, WBHC said that the Hindu Hostel does not come under their purview and students should approach the chairman of the Heritage Conservation Committee, KMC.
Sk Sahidul, one of the boarders, said: “It is sad that such a heritage structure, which needs conservation and preservation, has been ignored for several years.”
