Mumbai: Children’s Academy Group of Schools recently held Uttar Pradesh Darshan event on its Malad premises to celebrate the state’s cultural richness. Over 800 students participated in the two-day event and showcased a plethora of folklore, festivals and folk dances, Ramleela, and the opulent weddings in UP. The festival glorified the heroes of UP including Mangal Pandey, Lal Bahadur Shastri, and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.Ganga Ghat and monuments like the Taj Mahal, Bulund Darwaza and Prem Mandir were also recreated to dazzle the audience comprising over 18,000 students, parents and school faculty. Lyricist, poet, dialogue writer and screenwriter Manoj Shukla Muntashir was the chief guest at the event. Alumnus Rajeev Khandelwal, an editor-director and founder of Artzone, along with Rohan Bhat, chairman, Rohit Bhat, CEO, and Ronit Bhat, group communications head and IBCP Head of Children’s Academy Group of Schools, graced the event.
