525 Booked For Breaking One-way Rule | Bengaluru News – Times of India

Bengaluru: Around 525 motorists riding/driving against one-way were caught by traffic police within one-and-a-half hours on Monday evening. Police collected Rs 2.7 lakh as spot fine from the defaulters.
According to traffic police, one of the main reasons for accidents is riding/driving one-way. As a preventive measure, they conducted a special drive across the city.Majority of violators are two-wheeler riders, followed by car drivers.
The drive was conducted between 6pm and 7.30pm. Around 434 riders of bikes, scooters and mopeds were booked. TNN
