Nagpur: This weekend promises to be a literary bonanza for Nagpurians as Vidarbha Literary Festival (VLF) is all set to kick off its 3rd edition from Saturday at Chitnavis Centre. The two-day VLF fest will feature a plethora of English language authors, thus promising an entertaining engagement with the audience.
The fest will be inaugurated at 10 am on January 27 by Brig Rahul Dutt-Deputy GOC of Umang -Uttar Maharashtra and Gujarat sub area, MOIL CMD Ajit Kumar Saxena and Maha Metro MD Shravan Hardikar.
On the first day, multiple interactive sessions with authors will be held where readers will understand the author’s perspective and discuss some of the interesting snippets. Behind-the-scenes stories of the book will allow readers to connect with the content at a deeper level. Also the question-answer session with audiences is one of the most awaited events wherein the authors will clarify doubts and answer queries.
With almost 30 authors set to grace the VLF fest this weekend, the current chilly Nagpur weather is poised to offer the most perfect setting for such a event.
Sachin Jahagirdar, one of the founding members of VLF said “Apart from author sessions, we will also have panel discussions on both days. The panel discussions provide a 360 degree view of the topic and help the listeners get a rounded opinion.”
From sports, to ancient food to insights from the army, the panel discussions at VLF promise to be interesting. Entry to the event is free, but seating arrangement will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
