City’s Msmes Apprised Of Zed Certification | Ludhiana News – Times of India

Ludhiana: A conclave on building competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through MSME sustainable (ZED) certification scheme was held at a private hotel here. Representatives of the textile industry and government officials participated in the event.
During the event, the MSMEs were guided to progress further byavailing the benefit of the scheme.
Chiranjiv Singh, general secretary of the Knitwear and Textile Club, said sustainable (ZED) certification is an extensive drive of the ministry of MSME to create awareness among MSMEs about zero defect zero effect (ZED) practices and enhance their competitiveness through assessment, modification, guidance, hand holding and technological intervention.
The aim of the scheme is to motivate and incentivise MSMEs for ZED certification, while also encouraging them, he added.
