According to officials, among 13 officers of AGMUT- cadre IAS officers reshuffled by MHA, four have been shifted out of Delhi while four have been moved to the city.Sources added that at least three important departments were currently being handled by officers as additional responsibilities and needed to have full-time heads.
The meeting of the panel is convened after the approval of the chief minister. The last full-fledged meeting of NCCSA took place on Sept 20 last year. No reaction was available from the CM office.
The three officers transferred out of Delhi included Dilraj Kaur, who was posted as principal secretary-cum-commissioner in department of food, supplies and consumer affairs, Laltinkhuma Franklin, managing director of Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board, and Sonal Swarup, secretary to the LG.
With the transfer of Ashish Kundra, a 1996-batch officer, as principal secretary to LG VK Saxena earlier this month, the position of principal secretary-cum-commissioner of the transport department fell vacant recently. With the superannuation of the 1989-batch officer Praveen Kumar Gupta, who held the offices of administrative reforms and general administration as additional chief secretary, the two departments will also fall vacant on Thursday.
The officers transferred by the MHA to Delhi included the 1994-batch officer Naveen Choudhary, the 2011-batch Mitali Namchoom, the 2015-batch Veditha Reddy, and the 2018-batch Anmol Srivastava.
