Mumbai: The city traffic police have urged citizens to claim abandoned vehicles from among 3,901 vehicles that are lying unclaimed at various traffic police chowkies. All vehicles that are not claimed by Feb 15 will be disposed of through an auction. “A detailed list of these vehicles is displayed on the traffic police’s website. Vehicle owners whose registration numbers are mentioned in the list may contact police inspector (multimedia cell) at traffic police headquarters on Pochkhanwala Road, Worli, said a press statement. The claimants are required to bring along all original documents pertaining to the vehicle, RC book and identity documents such as Aadhaar card and driving licence. tnn
