Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra‘s latest film 12th Fail has not only resonated with audiences but has also proven to be a financial success. Even after completing 100 days in theatres, the critically acclaimed film starring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr in the lead, still continues to mint money at the box office.
According to Sacnilk, 12th Fail has amassed an impressive Rs 2.5 crore since its OTT release, bringing the total collection to a remarkable Rs 56.50 crore net in India and over Rs 70 crore gross worldwide.

The cast and crew of 12th Fail gathered in Mumbai on Saturday to celebrate the ‘100 days in theatres’ milestone. Vikrant, director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Medha Shankr, and the entire ensemble celebrated the film’s success. The grand celebration was also attended by real-life IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma along with his wife IRS officer Shraddha Joshi.

Based on a book by Anurag Pathak, 12th Fail chronicles the life of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame extreme poverty to become an IPS officer. The film puts the spotlight on his journey and how his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, was instrumental in his rise. Vikrant played the role of Manoj, while Medha portrayed the role of Shraddha.
12th Fail was released in theatres on October 27 last year. It also received tremendous response since its OTT release on December 29.
