Truck Catches Fire In Khanna | Ludhiana News – Times of India

Ludhiana: A truck caught fire in front of a petrol pump on Samrala road in Khanna on Friday night. As per reports, a truck carrying iron strips was on its way from Mandi Gobindgarh to Jalandhar via Nawanshahr road. The report suggests that as the vehicle reached outside the petrol pump, the driver stopped the vehicle. When he started it again, it caught fire.Sources said that the driver managed to jump out of the vehicle. When staff at the petrol pump saw the truck burning, they called the Khanna fire department. A fire department official said that it took them about 45 minutes to control the fire. tnn
