Mumbai: Customs officials at Mumbai airport on Sunday arrested a woman for allegedly smuggling gold ornaments weighing 2.1kg worth nearly Rs 1.7 crore from Dubai.
On specific intelligence, the air intelligence unit intercepted Rekha Gurbani, who hails from Madhya Pradesh, after she arrived by an Air India flight. Her baggage search resulted in recovery of 18 gold chains and two gold anklets weighing a total 2.1kg.
