4,630 Patients Examined and Treated at Magh Mela Hospitals | News Article | Allahabad News – Times of India

Prayagraj: As many as 4,630 patients were examined and treated by doctors at Magh Mela hospitals here on Sunday. Health department officials said among these, 1,351 were attended to at Triveni Hospital, 1,326 at Ganga Hospital, and 1,953 at 10 First Aid Posts (FAP) by the medical and paramedical staff.
Officials, however, admitted that this was the highest figure of patients being examined and treated at Mela hospitals since the beginging of Magh Mela.A senior health official said, “So far, we have examined and treated 79,379 patients at Mela hospitals and first aid posts. Between January 15 and February 11, as many as 24,069 and 22,661 patients received treatment at Triveni and Ganga hospitals, respectively. Additionally, a total of 32,649 patients were attended to by the medical and paramedical staff at the 10 first aid posts during the same period.”
Furthermore, on Sunday alone, 347 patients were provided with testing (pathology) facilities. To date, a total of 6,875 patients have availed themselves of pathology services at Mela hospitals.tnn
