Lucknow: The state tourism department has proposed to rope in internationally popular social media influencers to brand the Maha Kumbh scheduled to take place in 2025, an official spokesperson said on Sunday.
“The larger plan to brand the event also includes holding a social media conclave,” the spokesperson said, adding that the government was trying to bring non-governmental agencies and players on board to make the event truly inclusive and vibrant.
Officials said that several competitions are also being organised to associate and connect with people. Sharing details about the social media conclave, they said: “It will be a two-day event scheduled to take place in March. Social media influencers and tours operators from all over the country have been invited to participate and share the ideas.”
