Lucknow: Mysticism can help in bridging the gap between different communities and sects, said Muzaffar Ali, who was in conversation with author Sathya Saran at a session on ‘Mysticism and Muzaffar’ organized at Koshala Literature Festival on Sunday.
Ali said that mysticism, which is the spiritual love which believes in the union with the deity, can help in unifying people and creating brotherhood.
“I believe that practicing mysticism is the need of today’s times when people are on the verge of communal divide,” he added.
There are different forms of mysticism including – kathak, music and poetry. “Different forms of mysticism can be a unifying factor among people. Many times people associate the love between Radha and Krishna with Sufism. Besides, there are several other such examples which help in touching the lives of people and bringing camaraderie in the society,” said Ali.
