Property Of Jailed Mafia Anupam Dubey Confiscated | Kanpur News – Times of India

Kanpur: Property worth Rs 45.55 cr of jailed mafia Anupam Dubey, his brother Anurag Dubey and his family members was confiscated on Sunday.
Property confiscated included a residential house and six shops near Machhli Tola. Police have confiscated property worth Rs 160 crore of mafia and his relatives, so far.
The then Kotwal of Mohammadabad, Amar Pal Singh, had filed a case under Gangster Act against mafia Anupam Dubey’s brother Anurag Dubey alias Dabban, Mohammadabad block head and brother Amit Dubey alias Babban in October 2023. District Magistrate VK Singh had ordered the confiscation of the property of Anurag Dubey and his family members in the Gangster Act case.
There is a reward of Rs 50,000 on Anurag Dubey alias Dabban, who is absconding. Amit Dubey alias Babban is lodged in Hardoi district jail.
The administration has freezed Rs 5 lakh deposited in bank accounts. A total of assets worth Rs 45.55 crore were attached on Sunday. Tehsildar Shraddha Pandey said that on Sunday, the mafia’s house in Manas Mandir was attached.
“Six shops of the mafia and their family members were locked and sealed,” said Pandey added.
