Expecting more price cuts: Retailers in Kolkata | Kolkata News – Times of India

Kolkata: Rajendra Khandlwal of Dhanwantary Pharma said there had been two price-cuts in medicine prices two consecutive months, adding, “We are expecting a few more price cuts till August. Large manufacturers are reducing prices continuously, realizing the Indian market’s potential.”
The new set of medicines that witnessed price cuts include the combo meds of omeprazole and domperidone; amoxycillin and clavulanic acid; and sitagliptin and metformin.“The prices of medicines like omeprazole and domperidone will be almost halved,” said Somnath Ghosh of Metro Pharma.
