30+ students from city secure 99 percentile in JEE (Main) Ludhiana | Ludhiana News – Times of India

Ludhiana: More than 30 students from the city have scored 99 percentile and above in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024, result of which was declared by the National Testing Agency on Tuesday.
As per the information, Tanush Bansal has scored 99.99 percentile, followed by Agrim Bhanot (99.91 percentile) and Keshav Dharni (99.88 percentile). The others who scored above 99 percentile are Hardik Mahindroo (99.88), Dhruv Aggarwal (99.82), Aditya Kalra (99.82), Akunth Jain (99.81), Divyansh Bansal (99.77), Chunit Bansal, Aekmjot and Brahmasees Singh Makkar (99.73), Pranav Goyal (99.69), Siya Goyal (99.68), Ridham Goyal (99.6), Aryan Bansal (99.59), Mokshita Gupta (99.52), Neeraj Singla (99.47), Priyansh Aggarwal (99.46), Ritesh Bansal and Krishav Goyal (99.35), Aditya Sharma (99.29), Sanyam Nohria (99.28), Deepanshu (99.27), Pulkit Kapoor (99.18), and Tripti Jain (99).Tanush, son of a businessman father and home-maker mother, said that Google CEO Sundar Pichai inspired him to pursue computer science.
“I want to be like him. That’s why I am giving my 100% to pursue computer science at IIT Bombay,” he added. For Agrim, his focus is just on JEE (Advance). “I want to get admission in IIT Delhi. I have been able to clear this examination due to the support of parents and teachers,” he added. Hardik, who scored 99.88 percentile, said, “Aim of my life at this point of life is to be able to figure among top-200 scorers in JEE Advance and secure a seat in IIT Delhi.”
Students have to clear the JEE (Main) and JEE (Advance) to get admission to engineering courses at institutes such as National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Technology and other technical colleges. Only those who have cleared the JEE (Main) can appear in the JEE (Advance).
