Youth in Army uniform to woo lover goes to jail | Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: A youth trying to impress a woman he was courting by dressing up as an Army officer ended up in trouble. Caught moving around the Ambajhari ordnance factory premises in a senior Army officer’s uniform, 21-year-old Abhijeet Choudhary was booked for trespassing and impersonation on Tuesday. Multiple ID cards of different wings of the armed forces were found with him, said sources.
Patil had come to meet a 31-year-old woman staying in the residential quarters on the factory premises.He had met her through a matrimonial site, and is learnt to have told her he was serving in army.
As he was approaching her home, Choudhary came across an officer of colonel rank. In a bid to appear real, he saluted the colonel, leaving him surprised. Patil was actually wearing the uniform of an officer ranker higher than the colonel, and had initiated the salute. Above all, he raised his left hand to salute. He was quickly apprehended by guards and on questioning he was found carrying multiple fake ID cards. tnn
