College students clash at Pattaravakkam railway station | Chennai News – Times of India

Chennai: Suburban train passengers were put to hardship at Pattaravakkam railway station on Wednesday as two group of students clashed, allegedly to prove their dominance over the route. Three students from Presidency College have been arrested.
Several students from Presidency College and Pachaiyappa’s College were on board an EMU train from Tiruttani to Chennai Central.When it reached Pattaravakkam, some students got down and started hurling stones and empty beer bottles at members of another group.
A video clip of the attack, shot by a passenger, went viral. A hunt is on for a dozen students. GRP DSP Ramesh said he has written to authorities of the two colleges seeking dimissal of the students. tnn
