In a way, Sara recreated an iconic scene from ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, where Saif, also known as Sameer, tries to communicate with his upset girlfriend Priya. However, he struggles to complete a statement, and his dialogues become mere fragments of the conversation as Priya refuses to let him speak. The video has been shared by Farah Khan as well. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for her next project, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’. In this film, Sara will be seen portraying the role of a courageous freedom fighter, Usha Mehta. ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is set against the Quit India Movement in 1942 and unfolds a fictional tale depicting the youth’s courage, patriotism, sacrifice, and resourcefulness during India’s fight for independence.
Apart from this, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in an upcoming OTT show ‘Murder Mubarak’. Directed by Homi Adajania, the movie boasts an ensemble cast including Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Suhail Nayyar.
