Kanpur: UP Cricket Association, on Thursday announced its 17 member Ranji Trophy team for the match against Chhattisgarh slated to be held at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow from Feb 16.
It will be UP’s last match in Elite B pool. Earlier it was slated to be played in Kanpur but UPCA reshuffled the match and shifted it to Ekana Stadium. The two teams are – UP- Nitish Rana (captain), Aryan Juyal, Karan Sharma, Rinku Singh, Priyam Garg, Akshadeep Nath, Saurabh Kumar,Yash Dayal,Prince Yadav,Abhishek Goswami ,Shivam Sharma ,Aaquib ,Shiva Singh, Atal Bihari, Shoaib , Bobby Yadav, Almas Shaukat.
Chhattisgarh- Amandeep Khare (captain), Ajay Mandal, Ashutosh Singh, Shashank Singh, Rishabh Tiwari, Sanjeet Desa, Eknath Kerkar, Shashank Chandrakar, Shubham Singh, Ashish Chouhan, Jeevesh Bhutte, Vasudev Bareth, Gagandeep Singh, Sumit Ruikar, Anju Tiwari , M Ravi Kiran, Vishvash Malik, Shubham Agrawal .

The Uttar Pradesh Ranji squad will play their last match against Chhattisgarh at Lucknow’s Ekana stadium instead of the originally scheduled Green Park stadium in Kanpur. The rescheduling was done to take advantage of the red soil pitch at Ekana stadium. Green Park will now host UP’s encounter with J&K in the CK Nayudu tournament.
