German Hangars Made of Steel at GBC Venue Lucknow: Showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s Solid Industrial Growth | Lucknow News – Times of India

Lucknow: As a metaphor to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s ‘solid’ industrial growth, the organizers of ground breaking ceremony (GBC 4.0) are building a ‘German Hangar’ with 56 shipping containers made of steel at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, the event venue where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address nearly 2,500 corporate honchos on Feb 19.
The containers, placed one over the other, are being used to erect 70m long and 20m high walls.
The wall will be painted on a theme depicting Uttar Pradesh growing industrial and economic prowess with recording breaking investments.
The hangar is being set up by a Delhi-based event management company called Deepali Designs and Exhibits Pvt Ltd (DDEPL).
“The idea behind using steel made shipping containers for erecting a hangar was to showcase Uttar Pradesh growth. Like steel, the state is firm and solid to become a one trillion-dollar economy. The decking up of containers suggests the constant endeavour to reach new heights,” said a source.
In the inner side of the hangar, 3-D animation will be projected on the shipping containers to show visuals of the UP’s growth story.
“These containers also have inbuilt air conditioning systems, and it will be used to maintain air quality and temperature inside the hangar that would close with synthetic drapes,” said the source.
