Hyderabad: A week after an Intermediate student died by suicide in a Suryapet SC Gurukul School, a class X student of the school took her life at her residence in NTR Nagar here on Saturday.
The 15-year-old girl took the extreme step when members of her family were away from home.
Police said after the death of the Intermediate student on Feb 10, the school management sent all the students to their homes.
On Saturday, the class X student’s mother told her daughter to get ready to go back to the residential school as classes will resume on Monday. Police said the girl’s mother went out and by the time she came back, the teenage girl was found dead. Police shifted the girl’s body to a hospital for a postmortem examination. A case was registered under section 174 (suspicious death) of Cr PC.
Police said she did not leave any suicide note.
