Haveri: A man was arrested on Friday for allegedly killing his younger brother over suspicion of an illicit affair with his wife in Nelogal Tanda. The accused, Shankrappa Lamani, suspected that his brother, Hanumanthappa Lamani, had an illicit affair with his wife. This led to an arguments between the two on Friday and in a fit of rage, Shankrappa allegedly stabbed Hanumanthappa, 43. He was admitted to Haveri District Hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered. TNN
