Store Staffer Robbed of 70k | – Times of India

Gurgaon: An employee of a construction materials supply store was allegedly found lying in a pit in Sohna’s Rithoj village on Friday night after being allegedly kidnapped, beaten, and robbed of Rs 70,000, said police.
Mahesh, who is the manager of the company, registered a complaint after he found the employee, Mushtaq, by a roadside pit at around 10pm. Mahesh said he had given Mushtaq Rs 70,000 to pay to a client on Friday in Sohna’s Rithoj village.
An FIR was registered under sections 506(criminal intimidation), 362 (abducting), and 34 (common intent) of IPC.
CCTV footage has been secured where the assailants can be seen dragging Mushtaq and pulling him by his hair, said police. “A staff who was out to get vegetables saw Mushtaq being forcefully shoved inside an unidentified car by five men at 8:50pm,” said Mahesh in his complaint.
Mahinder Singh, SHO of Bhondsi police station, said, “Preliminary investigation suggests it is a case of an old grudge. We are investigating the matter.”
