Jaipur: Union home minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address party meetings in three political clusters: Bikaner, Jaipur, and Udaipur, on Tuesday. The meetings are seen as a first step towards the party’s preparation for the Lok Sabha polls scheduled in April and May. Each cluster will have three seats.
The meetings are intended to take feedback from the party’s sitting MPs and finalise poll strategy. “The party leaders and workers are excited to attend Shah’s first meeting in Bikaner. During the meeting, the party workers will get the opportunity to hear Shah’s vision for the country,” said Satish Poonia, who is attending the meeting in Bikaner. This cluster includes Bikaner, Churu, and Ganganagar.
The next destination is Jaipur. Here, Shah will hold a meeting with party state president CP Joshi, party state in-charge Arun Singh, and others. Jaipur cluster includes Jaipur, Jaipur Rural, and Dausa. Shah will conclude his meeting at Udaipur, which includes Udaipur, Banswara, and Chittorgarh. Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya who joined the party, is likely to join the meeting in Udaipur. TNN
