CHENNAI: After 60 questions on diverse topics, Bhavya Bansal from Pilkhuwa, Uttar Pradesh won the third edition of The Good Quiz 2024, presented by the Murugappa Group. The event, which was based on the theme of ‘All things good’, was conducted virtually by quizmaster Dr Navin Jayakumar was held on February 18.
Ayush Utsav and Rohan, both from New Delhi, came second and third, respectively. Gift vouchers worth Rs 17,000 were distributed to the top 10 finalists. Audience prizes worth Rs 8,000 were given away. In the preliminary round, prizes worth Rs 47,000 were awarded to participants.
Fourth and fifth places were awarded to Aditya Jha from Kolkata and Deepa Bansal, also from Pilkhuwa.
This national open quiz saw more than 3,600 participants contesting in the preliminary round on February 17, of which the 150 top scorers made it to the finale.
Commenting on the third edition of the quiz, Dr Navin said, “It was friendly, fun and although it’s called a good quiz, the number of people who took part and the experience made it a great quiz.”
