City’s air quality poor for 2nd day | Ludhiana News – Times of India

Ludhiana: The city’s air quality was recorded poor for a second straight day on the AQI, according to Central Pollution Control Board’s (CPCB) bulletin released on Monday.
AQI, which expands to air quality index, is a measure of suspended particulate matter. Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) officials have suggested that prevailing weather conditions are among factors responsible for the poor air quality.

On Sunday too, the city’s air quality was recorded in the poor category, 202.
This month, worst air quality was recorded on Feb 10, when it touched 231. It was the best on Feb 5, when it was recorded at 44.
