Before the release of the film Article 370, Yami Gautam received recognition from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his recent speech. During his visit to Jammu, PM Modi addressed a sizable gathering and spoke about Article 370. Yami expressed her gratitude towards the Prime Minister for mentioning the film.

He said, “I have heard that a film on Article 370 is going to be released this week…It is a good thing as it will help people in getting correct information.”

Yami, in a revealing clip, refers to Kashmir as a ‘lost case,’ expressing her character’s frustration. The special status of the state is depicted as a barrier preventing her from fulfilling her duty effectively. The film aims to shed light on the emergence of terrorism in the region, adding a layer of urgency to the narrative.
The film is slated to hit the theatres on February 23, 2024.
