Gurgaon: The district administration has started taking action against developers who have not paid the fee for structural audit even after being warned several times.
To speed up the process of structural audit and ensure safety of residents living in high rises, DC Nishant Yadav called on developers and other stakeholders and directed them to get their towers audited by an agency empanelled by the management or by a nationally reputed agency to the satisfaction of RWA.
He further said that the builders who are not following the directions will face action and the registration of their projects will be put on hold.
In a recent meeting attended by ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena and district town planner (enforcement) Manish Yadav, the DTP issued instructions to stop registration of projects of builders who do not cooperate in structural audit work.

Investigation ordered into Rural Industrial Park investment; audit to follow
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma announced an investigation into the investment in Rural Industrial Park (RIPA) by the previous government. An audit will be conducted by the AG office. Funding of Rs 260 crore has been disbursed, and irregularities in expenditure have been mentioned. The target of establishing 300 RIPA centers by November 2023 has been met.
