Madrasas not providing modern education should be identified by the government | Jaipur News – Times of India

Jaipur: The minority affairs and waqf department issued orders on Tuesday that madrasas which were not providing modern education should be identified. The department’s secretary, Rajan Vishal, held a review meeting with district minority welfare officers at the secretariat where the department’s 100-day action plan, achievement of department related points in the new government’s resolution letter, madrasa education and modernization, progress of schemes, etc, were reviewed.
Vishal said at the meeting that a campaign should be launched to make all minority communities aware of the need for good, all-round education.
He instructed officials that before the start of the upcoming academic session, suggestions should be taken from stakeholders, parents and intellectuals to make an action plan to ensure 100 percent enrolment of children in schools run by the department.
Vishal directed that all personnel working in schools should come on time, toilets should be cleaned regularly, and children should be given nutritious food. Problems should be resolved quickly by registering them through Rajasthan Sampark Portal, he said. He instructed district minority welfare officers to conduct surprise inspections of all residential schools from time to time.
